Our hygiene therapy program is designed to provide
you with preventative dental care which is essential for
maintaining healthy, attractive teeth. Over 85% of people suffer
from periodontal disease but most do not know it. Although the
signs of periodontal disease do not hurt, they can be seen as
bleeding gums during brushing and flossing, puffy or inflamed
looking gums, bad breath and/or loose teeth.
If periodontal disease is not treated quickly it
can cause not only tooth loss, but ALSO a number of other health
concerns. These hazards include low birth weight of unborn children
and increased chances of heart disease and stroke. There also have
been studies that periodontal disease can affect insulin activity
in diabetics. We strive to improve not only the health of your
mouth but your overall health as well.
